Shipping Containers
I have had my home office set up in the spare bedroom ever since leaving work some time ago but because it's getting nearer to my due time I want to transfer so we can make the extra room in to a nursery.
We have been thinking about constructing an extension onto the home but due to the design of the back of the home which already includes a fantastic leisure area which would have to be sacrificed. The only real other option is in front of the house but it means significantly transforming the appearance of your property and to really make it appear right we will have to go to big cost to attempt to blend in the extension.
We've got a large back yard and have been contemplating constructing some type of home office at the back beyond our entertainment area. This is looking like the best choice. We already got some architects around however the price ranges they are estimating are what I thought we might build a new home for.
My brother recommended getting a used shipping container which initially did not interest me whatsoever however he sent me several websites with illustrations of what people have done even constructing whole properties from them and I am a convert.
The prices they offer for second hand shipping containers are very cost-effective. My hubby is already looking forward to doing it as home handyman project. Luckily for us the drive way beside the property would allow us to deliver it to the back yard. Next wednesday we will see a supplier and buy our home office shipping container.
